Sawyer Lipari joined LE&A in July 2016 and supports a number of key accounts in healthcare, consumer, education and nonprofit. She is also involved in pro-bono work with the Michigan Humane Society in Detroit and the Detroit Institute of Arts.
Sawyer recently relocated from NYC where she worked at UJA-Federation of New York, the largest local philanthropy in the world, where she served as a publicist promoting the organization’s nearly 100 network agencies, and its new and existing grants, initiatives and programs in both New York and around the world.
Sawyer also brings marketing and communication experience to LE&A through her work with health and wellness, hospitality, fashion, and entertainment brands. Prior to UJA-Federation of New York, she worked at a boutique PR agency representing national brands in the health and wellness, skincare and haircare industries. Sawyer’s responsibilities included developing and executing multiple strategies and programs to enhance brand image, generate product awareness, and increase sales of consumer products, store openings, and professional services. One of her most notable projects included launching a Japanese brand into the U.S. by organizing a media trip to Japan with editors from top national publications and supporting clients at New York Fashion Week.
In addition, Sawyer has experience in the media industry where she developed media campaigns and placed advertising buys for clients such as Chase Bank, T. Rowe Price, Rubbermaid, UPMC and other consumer accounts.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in strategic marketing and communications with a minor in Spanish from University of Richmond in Virginia.
