Chea Jackson


Chea Jackson joined LE&A in July 2011 and supports a number of accounts within health care, science and technology, nonprofit, and manufacturing sectors. Chea holds extensive experience in local and trade media relations, campaign development, internal communications, event planning and social media management. Her clients operate in a wide variety of industries including health and wellness, pharmaceuticals, health care management, medical device manufacturing, insurance and biomedical research.

Over the course of her career, Chea has played a key role in driving the development and execution of comprehensive communications plans for a diverse range of clients. She has played an integral part in publicizing the innovative operations and achievements of MPI Research, an industry-leading early stage drug development contract research organization. Her work with MPI Research includes coverage and article placement with trade publications, facility grand opening events, social media management, crisis communications, and internal and external corporate message development. She was instrumental in the promotion of fundraising events and programs for Van Andel Institute, a leading biomedical research institute known for breakthrough discoveries in cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. Chea was also a two-time presenter at Van Andel Institute’s Purple Community Leadership Academy, an annual conference designed to teach students, educators, community members and business leaders how to develop and execute a successful fundraising event.

Chea also has been involved with several local organizations, including the Association for Corporate Growth of Western Michigan, Michigan State University Club of West Michigan and the Gazelle Girl Half Marathon.

Chea brings experience from the nonprofit sector having worked two years for the Michigan Townships Association, where she led vendor and advertiser relations, trade show coordination, and magazine content development and design. She holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising with a specialization in public relations from Michigan State University.
