GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Aug. 27, 2013 – Lambert, a leading Michigan-based public relations and investor relations firm, today announced it has been ranked #4,298 by Inc. magazine for its seventh annual Inc. 5000 list. Lambert was named to the list of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies after a growth rate of 37 percent over the past three years. This is the company’s fifth straight year on the list.

The Inc. 5000, an extension of Inc. magazine’s annual Inc. 500 list, is the most comprehensive look at the most dynamic segment of the economy – America’s independent-minded entrepreneurs. Lambert joins LivingSocial, Edible Arrangements, CDW and Lifelock, among other prominent brands featured on this year’s list.
“Receiving this honor for the fifth year in a row puts us in rare company and is indicative of Lambert’s mission to provide our clients not just great PR and investor relations, but ultimately to impact their bottom line,” said Jeff Lambert, president and CEO of Lambert “Only 55 companies in Michigan have achieved this feat of being on the list for five straight years, and with this being the company’s 15th anniversary, we have much to celebrate.”

In a stagnant economic environment, median growth rate of 2013 Inc. 500|5000 companies is an impressive 142 percent. The companies on this year’s list report having created over 520,000 jobs in the past three years, and aggregate revenue among the honorees reached $241 billion.

“Not all the companies in the Inc. 500 | 5000 are in glamorous industries, but in their fields they are as famous as household name companies simply by virtue of being great at what they do. They are the hidden champions of job growth and innovation, the real muscle of the American economy,” says Inc. Editor Eric Schurenberg.
