Grand Rapids, Mich. – July 16, 2015 – Lambert, one of Michigan’s top-ranked public relations agencies and the state’s largest investor relations and public affairs firm, has expanded its Grand Rapids team with the addition of Alaina Korreck as an associate and Abby Timmer as a digital specialist.
Alaina Korreck was hired at Lambert after serving as an intern where she helped execute the Two Men and a Truck program, Movers for Moms. Currently, she works with clients in various industries with an emphasis in B2B, consumer and healthcare. Her day-to-day work includes media relations support through press release development, media pitching and active media monitoring. Korreck also handles event management and social media content curation for clients in the consumer products and manufacturing industries. Before joining Lambert, Korreck was the interim marketing coordinator for Kent County Michigan Works!
Korreck holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Grand Valley State University (GVSU). During her time at GVSU, she served as the vice president of the university’s Public Relations Student Society of America where she developed and leveraged relationships with local professionals to advance the chapter and its members.
Abby Timmer joined Lambert after serving as a graphic design graduate assistant at the University of West Florida as well as a freelance graphic designer where she worked with several of Lambert’s clients including Wolverine Worldwide, Jamba At Home Smoothies, University Research Corridor, Great Expressions Dental Centers, and US Green Building Council. In her new role at Lambert, Timmer is responsible for creative services and graphic design as well as digital strategy and content development for social media platforms.
She holds a master’s degree in strategic communication and leadership along with a bachelor’s degree in advertising/graphic design from the University of West Florida (UWF). During her time at UWF, she served as the captain of the varsity volleyball team.
