Mike Houston, Senior DirectorGRAND RAPIDS, MICH., Jan. 9, 2017 – Lambert, a top-15 investor relations firm nationally and a 2016 finalist for M&A Advisor Communications Firm of the Year, today announced the firm has added Mike Houston as senior director and Morgan DeBoer as associate.

Houston’s responsibilities include supporting Lambert’s investor relations and financial communications efforts for a wide variety of publicly traded and private equity clients. He brings a balanced financial and marketing perspective to the firm with nearly a decade of professional experience in investor relations, marketing, sales, product development and corporate communications.
Prior to joiningLambert, Houston served as the vice president of commercialization, leading all sales, marketing and communications strategies at Amedica Corporation, a publicly traded biomaterial company that develops and commercializes silicon nitride as a platform for biomedical applications. Additionally, he was responsible for the company’s product development, clinical and business development efforts.

Houston also previously managed the investor relations activities at Ancestry, the global leader in family history and consumer genomics. At Ancestry, he led the corporate communications and public relations efforts relating to science and technology. He began his career in the IR agency world with multiple stops, includingLambert for three years.

Houston earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in finance from the University of Utah.
Morgan DeBoer, AssociateDeBoer joinsLambert as an associate and supports a number of the firm’s investor relations clients, covering a variety of industries. Her responsibilities include investor targeting and data analysis, as well as message development, corporate communications and financial media relations.

Prior to joining Lambert, DeBoer served as a communications intern at leading regional health system Spectrum Health where she supported day-to-day efforts including system-wide communications and message consistency. Additionally, she worked as a digital marketing intern at national retailer Meijer and was responsible for managing ongoing improvements to the Meijer website and mobile app.

DeBoer holds a bachelor’s in marketing with minors in general business and event management from Western Michigan University. She is currently involved with the Wolverine Worldwide YMCA board of directors and is a member of Club Red for Gilda’s Club of Grand Rapids.
