Binh Brenda Duong served as an intern in the Lansing office of LE&A before she was hired as an associate in 2015. Her day-to-day work includes media relations support through press release development and outreach. Brenda also supports community outreach campaigns and social media content for clients in the educational and consumer services sectors.
During her internship at LE&A, Brenda assisted on numerous projects including work for the University Research Corridor, Michigan Association of Community Mental Health Boards and Old Orchard.
Brenda graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in communication and specialization in public relations. Before graduation, she served on the executive board of the Asian Pacific American Student Organization for three consecutive years, leading one of the four largest minority ethnic student organizations on campus. Her diverse background in Asian American studies and sexual assault and relationship violence prevention strengthened relationships with the administration and extended community outreach. She also held an internship with the MSU Graduate School, heightening media coverage for Graduate Student Life and Wellness.
Brenda mentors and teaches young children through The Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement, a non-profit worldwide organization, where she has volunteered more than 400 hours of her own time. She is an alumna of Alpha Phi Gamma Sorority, Inc.
