Grand Rapids, Mich. – April 3, 2017 – Lambert, Edwards & Associates (Lambert), one of Michigan’s top-ranked public relations agencies and the state’s largest investor relations and public affairs firm, today announced the promotions of Chea Jackson to director, and Megan McCarl and Tyler Deur to senior associate.

Chea JacksonJackson joined the team in 2011 and supports a number of accounts within health care, science and technology, nonprofit, and manufacturing sectors. Over the course of her career, she has played a key role in driving the development and execution of comprehensive communications plans for a diverse range of clients, including MPI Research, an industry-leading early stage drug development contract research organization, and Van Andel Institute, a leading biomedical research institute known for breakthrough discoveries in cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. Jackson holds extensive experience in local and trade media relations, campaign development, internal communications, event planning and social media management.

She also has been involved with several local organizations, including the Association for Corporate Growth of Western Michigan, Michigan State University Club of West Michigan and the Gazelle Girl Half Marathon. Jackson holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising with a specialization in public relations from Michigan State University.

Megan McCarlSince joining the team in 2013, McCarl has supported clients in a variety of industries including food and beverage, education, healthcare, construction, real estate and business. She focuses on day-to-day account support while connecting with local, regional and national media, executing new product launches, and managing cause marketing campaigns and projects. During her time at Lambert, Megan has landed multiple features in national outlets such as LIVE! With Kelly and Michael, SELF, Men’s Health, Huffington Post and O! The Oprah Magazine.

McCarl is currently a member of the communication committee for the Humane Society of West Michigan and is an active member of Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). A graduate of Grand Valley State University, she earned a bachelor’s degree in public relations and advertising with an emphasis in public relations.

Deur joined Lambert in 2013 and provides support for all of the firm’s investor relations clients, ranging from micro-cap to mid-cap and covering a wide range of industries. His responsibilities include peer and financial analysis, industry research and analysis, investor and media outreach and relations, conference call logistics, press release drafting, editing and distribution, quarterly earnings process facilitation, and digital and social media implementation for clients. He also manages logistics for Lambert’s SMID-West investor conference, held annually in Chicago.

Tyler currently serves on the communications committee for the Creative Youth Center, a local nonprofit that provides free educational and creative writing programs for students attending in Grand Rapids. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Calvin College with emphases in finance and marketing, and a minor in journalism.
