31 Mar Lambert, Edwards & Associates Announces Detroit and Lansing Promotions
Detroit, Mich. – March 27, 2017 – Lambert, Edwards & Associates (LE&A), one of Michigan’s top-ranked public relations agencies and the state’s largest investor relations and public affairs firm, announced the promotions of Ashleigh Chatel to director, and Amanda Niswonger and Brittany Zwierzchowski to senior associate.
Ashleigh Chatel has been promoted to director in LE&A’s Detroit office. Chatel joined the team in 2011; working with top clients including Huron Capital, Continental Automotive Systems North America, Détroit is the New Black. and Hamilton Anderson. In her nearly seven years with the firm, Chatel has developed and managed extensive media relations campaigns, crisis communications, integrated communications and corporate communications initiatives. She specializes in media relations strategy, internal communications, social media management, crisis communication and event planning/management.
Prior to joining LE&A, she spent a year as an advertising associate at AnnArbor.com. She also served at a boutique Detroit public relations agency for three years. Chatel has her bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University in communications studies with a focus on organizational communication and public relations.
Amanda Niswonger has been promoted to senior associate in the Detroit office after joining the team in 2014 as an associate. She serves a wide range of clients, including a number of Tier 1 Automotive Suppliers, including International Automotive Components, Axalta Coating Systems and North American International Auto Show. She also supports clients in other industries, including nonprofit, technology and dental. Niswonger focuses on providing and managing media relations, corporate communications, internal communications campaigns, as well as social media management and strategy.
Before joining the LE&A team, Niswonger worked at BRTRC Federal Solutions, where she served as the public relations specialist for her client, U.S. Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC). She earned her bachelor’s degree in communication and marketing from Saginaw Valley State University.
Brittany Zwierzchowski was promoted to senior associate of the firm’s public affairs counterpart, Sterling Corporation. Joining Sterling in 2015, she works with the issues management and strategic communications teams, and serves the firm’s corporate, association, and coalition clients. Zwierzchowski primarily helps manage Sterling’s growing energy practice, specializing in clean energy and energy efficiency advocacy and non-profit management.
Zwierzchowski joined the team after having gained public policy and communications experience in the communications and legislative divisions of the office of Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University, majoring in political theory and constitutional democracy with a minor in philosophy and law.
